The Edward L. Graves Summer High School Band Camp aims to empower young minds through music, discipline, and leadership. Now in its 12th year of providing transformative experiences for youth across the nation, this 7-day band camp grants high school students the opportunity to experience life as a future Aristocrat and TSU student. Students work with the AOB band directors, coaches, and student leaders to learn musical and life skills that will prepare them for collegiate music and dance auditions, adjusting to collegiate life, and navigating the world as a young adult.

Since we began the summer high school band camp, we have created a pipeline for students to enroll in universities around the country with ELG alumni not only attending, but graduating from universities such as Tennessee State University, Jackson State University, Lane College, Alcorn State University and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State university. After a week of rigorous training, the camp culminates in an end-of-camp showcase that is open to the public and is uploaded to the band’s YouTube channel which has thousands of subscribers.
